A rare Jeanne Lanvin by Castillo jacket from late 1950s. The jacket was designed by Antonio Castillo for the House of Lanvin and executed by the Parisian workshop of Maria Carine ca. 1958. It is a demi couture piece, meaning that it was a custom order placed through the boutique and finished to couture standards in their couture studios. The jacket is made from a deep fuchsia toned silk velvet. It has a boxy cut and fastens in the front by two large round buttons and a hook. It is fully lined in a bright pink satin.
The label reads “Jeanne Lanvin Castillo, Execute Par Maria Carine Sur Autorisation Speciale, Paris”, "Made in France".

Very good condition with minor signs of wear, such as a minor mark near the hem of the left shoulder and one repair in the lining.
