A spectacular art deco style crystal belt by Jean Paul Gaultier from circa 2007. It is inspired by Vauxhall glass jewelry, which was made in Victorian times and came back into fashion in the Art Deco period. It is characterized by intense hues of colored glass with a reflective mirror backing. The belt features clear purple and light blue and green mirror-backed baguette crystal front. It fastens by a secure lobster claw clasp. The fit is adjustable through the chain, which has another crystal arrangement at the end. The logo is stamped on the centerpiece. A rare and collectible piece.
