A work apron inspired top by Jean Paul Gaultier pour Kashiyama Paris from Spring-Summer 1981. Kashiyama were the first licensee of Gaultier’s clothing after his debut presentation in Paris. The ‘J-P Gaultier pour Kashiyama Paris’ label is one of the earliest Gaultier label tags. A rare and collectible piece of fashion history.
The top is made from a soft yet crisp cotton fabric. It features a striped brush stroke print, reminiscent of an abstract tiger print. The straps are fastened on bronze toned rectangle hardware by two gunmetal press studs. Below are decorative silver toned rivets. The top has a round collar and a boxy cut.
Marked size FR36. Best suited for size small.

Excellent condition with one small stitch drop on the back of the collar seam from manufacture.
