An absolutely stunning garnet red ensemble by Chantal Thomass from the late 1980s. The ensemble is made from a lightweight linen-silk blend fabric, which has a beautiful sheen. Both pieces are expertly tailored. The jacket has a wide peak lapel and a cinched waist. It features contrast yellow stitching and decorative translucent yellow plastic resin buttons. The shoulders are padded and there is a large detachable bow on the back. The front and back hem are pointed. The mid-length skirt sits high on the waist. It is paneled and flowy. The skirt has two side pockets. The interior is lined in orange satin.

Marked size FR38. Best suited for size small.

Very good condition with general signs of wear to the fabric. Slight discoloration on the bow.
